Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs is proud and appreciative of volunteers who share their time, energy and talents in support of our ministry. Volunteers are welcome to assist the staff and children in many ways . If you have two hours a week or a month to give, we will find a volunteer opportunity that is interesting to you and touches the lives of the children and families served at Mooncrest. Please contact Nancy Lawry at nlawry@feliciansisters.org or call 412.299.5651 to schedule a time to visit Mooncrest and learn more about the Ministry and the volunteer application process.

Volunteers are always welcome to help with the following:

  • Homework and activity help at the After School Program
  • Serving and clean up at the monthly Community Pasta Dinners
  • Tutoring for the adult GED program
  • Summer kids camp activities
  • Development and fundraising
  • Community gardening

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and provide a copy of the following current clearances:
PA state criminal clearance
No charge for volunteers

PA state child abuse clearance
No charge for Volunteers
